Mykaelle Figueriodo, a Senior pursuing a Health Services Administration degree, and one of the 2010 Scholarship recipients, said: “…Janelle’s memory and spirit was shared with all the sorority sisters at Phi Sigma Sigma. Her story will continue to be told for as long as those who love her pass on her memory. I believe that Janelle’s story would not be complete if the awareness of carbon monoxide poisoning is not shared along with her memory and joyful life. I will continue to pass on her memory as an Alumni by sharing her story with the community, and sharing with others the importance of having knowledge on this Silent Killer.”
